Anthony Kinzie, MSEM, CFP®, CPWA®, CEPA®

Anthony Kinzie is the Founder and President of Blue Bear Financial, where he empowers individuals, families, and business owners to navigate their financial lives with clarity, collaboration, and purpose. His approach is shaped by a lifelong commitment to service, education, and teamwork.

Anthony began his career in the U.S. Navy, serving six years as a Nuclear Electrician aboard fast-attack submarines. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Science and Engineering Technology, followed by a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Before founding Blue Bear, Anthony spent nearly a decade at Nucor Steel, working alongside some of the most intelligent and driven professionals. It was during that time that he saw a consistent theme: even highly capable individuals often lacked access to meaningful, strategic financial guidance. That insight sparked his mission to build a firm that prioritizes education, long-term thinking, and trusted partnership.

Anthony is a CFP®, CPWA®, and CEPA® professional as well as an investment advisor representative with additional licenses including Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health Insurance. He brings both technical depth and real-world perspective to every client relationship, grounded in the belief that good planning starts with listening and grows through consistent, purposeful action.

Outside the office, Anthony is a proud husband and father to three young boys. He enjoys cooking, fishing, live music, and tackling the next ambitious DIY project...sometimes all in one weekend!
